Well, so much for never having to use this email title again…
We have heard from many of our guests this week with regards to COVID concerns and rightfully so. We (and our staff) agree and have some of the same concerns ourselves which are due to the increase of people in the area this time of year. Based on feedback we have received, we have decided to take additional steps at the restaurant that we believe will continue to enhance the safety of our guests and staff. Changes are as follows and effective immediately...
First, we are removing even more tables from the the deck to provide even more spacing between tables and guests. As this will again reduce our seating capacity, we have altered our entertainment schedule and reservation policy to make sure all of our guests have an opportunity to enjoy the deck and entertainment.
On that note, we will now offer TWO shows from the same band each night and we WILL BE ACCEPTING DECK RESERVATIONS for both show periods. Specifically...on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays the bands will play from 5:30PM to 7:00PM and 8:00PM to 9:30PM. Please understand, if you have a reservation for the 5:30 show you may be asked to leave prior to the second show to make room for the next seating. As always, we will accept walk-ins but reservations will take priority. If the second seating is not sold out and you wish to stay for both shows, we will certainly do our best to accommodate. For now, the other nights (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday) will remain first come, first served.
First the bad news, out of an abundance of caution we have decided to cancel the VIP social scheduled for this Monday. We honestly don't feel comfortable hosting a large event where social distancing limits will be difficult to enforce. The safety of our guests and staff are and always will be our first priority. Although we all enjoy the social, hosting the event is not worth the risk of our guests (or staff) being exposed to COVID.
We apologize for changing things at the last minute, but please know we did not make this decision lightly. We appreciate all of the support you guys have given during this crazy 2020 year and look forward to being able to throw our best party yet sometime in the near future!
That's it for now. This is a very difficult email to put out but please understand, this has absolutely nothing to do with politics and everything to do with the safety and comfort of our guests. As business owners and more importantly friends of everybody in the community, I think we all can agree that taking the conservative approach will always be in the best interest of the larger group.
