Corona Virus Update

April 7, 2020 we all expected the restaurant is now open for Takeout and Delivery only.

Hello everybody!  Now that we are settling into our "new normal", we will go back to weekly emails to keep you in the loop on what we are doing at Cass Cay.

Nightly Family Meal

On that note and based largely on feedback, starting today we are developing and implementing "Nightly Family Meal" menus that we will CHANGE EACH WEEK.  The intent is to give you different (and often healthier) meal choices each night as we get tired of the same menu items too!  Because most items are highly perishable, we have limited the options to only one or two choices per night.  As you can see from the attached menu, it is still very cost effective but gives different daily choices and more premium items.  If you don't want the items on any given night, don't worry.

Take-Out Menu

The $10 menu is still available!  Both of these menus are available for curbside takeout or delivery from 4PM to 8PM nightly.  While we will always accept orders the day of, as we will have limited quantities of the items it will be helpful if you pre-order the day before.

We are also transitioning to Grab-N-Go go lunch items (salads, wraps, hot dogs etc.) curbside from 12PM to 4PM at the outside bar.  And yes, the outside bar has become a very big hit and will stay open from 12PM to 8PM!  Both menus attached.

TOILET PAPER- as silly as it sounds, Cass Cay has plenty of single roll toilet paper left and we are happy to add an individual roll for $1.00 to any order!  While supplies last of course, but we should be able to get more in.

GROCERIES AND SUPPLIES- Many of you all have informed us that other restaurants are now getting in fresh food/produce for retail sale in addition to their menu and inquired if Cass Cay plans on doing so.  At this time we do NOT intend to offer any produce or meats for retail, please support The Trading Post in this department.  The Trading Post plans on carrying more 'staples' than usual and can be reached at (239) 789-3463.  With that being said, Cass Cay DOES have some items in stock that we no longer need such as condiment bottles, paper towels, bleach, etc. We also have access to many other products, so if the Trading Post does not have what you are looking for please email us and we can track it down for you (especially those with specific dietary needs.)

Again, THANK YOU THANK YOU for the support... keep the calls coming in and remember to support The Trading Post, Linkside Cafe, and Vic's Pizza as well.  This is uncharted territory for all of us!  I am certain Chef Dave never would have imagined adding toilet paper to his food menu

At Cass Cay, for those we can't keep on payroll we will continue to provide meals for our staff and their families.  However, we are also extending this offer to the staff of the Trading Post, BSGAC and Vics.  Please make sure this information gets passed on to those employees that are effected.  Of course our previous offer to help our neighbors with financial concerns still stands as well.

Now more than ever your neighborhood restaurants need your help, the Trading Post, BSGAC, Vics and us of course!  Anything you can do to support us, all of us, will be greatly appreciated!

In addition to the medical concerns we all have with the virus, the added financial implications from this issue have severely impacted many of our neighbors.  If you find yourself or know of someone that is in a position where an outside meal is simply not an option, don't worry, we will gladly buy and deliver if needed lunch or dinner with no questions asked.  In the end, we are a neighborhood and take care of each other.  Please pass this along to anybody that might need a hot meal but is concerned about paying for it.

That's it for now guys...thanks again for the continued support.  Please let us know what you think about the new menus...Bill
